WeChall-Facebook

Hola all,

Gizmore, what do u think about creating some website for WeChall on Facebook? There are a lot of challenge-sites added ... It's good to become some bigger community ... maybe also having more traffic on this site.

Facebook makes me crazy too. I use it only under protest and very rarely. Plus 1 for Google+ though.

Indeed. But it's great to follow the news about hacking like lulzsec and/or anonymous ;-)
Also it would be some nice idea to see when some new challenge got released here or on some of the linked sites.

Email is dangerous. IM is dangerous. IRC is dangerous. FTP is dangerous. VoIP is dangerous. Smart phones are dangerous-- hell, not much gets close to a smart phone in terms of 'dangerous'. Its a brave new world. The trick is learning to live in it.

Google+ has security holes whether anyone has found them or not. That is the nature of the beast-- 'web applications have holes'. I dislike Facebook for other reason-- terrible performance, horrible design, weird interfaces, ill considered features, poorly implemented updates...

I have accounts at both FB and G+ but the chances of me actually using either service are pretty slim, but higher in the case of G+. I prefer forums like WeChall and StackOverflow to monolithic 'networking' sites-- probably because small talk annoys me-- but if Jinx or other members want to socialize my preferences aren't a reason to tell them 'no'.

Aren't geeks solving challenges supposed to be anti-social? fb/g+ would ruin the whole concept...

I disagree with you on this. I actually like the design, interfaces and what I think are smart features.

Anyways, I don't think many people would be eager to disclose their real identity and join a wechall page on such websites.

Well, difference of opinion. FB drives me absolutely crazy. Maybe that's just me. Given that about half the time I use a CLI by choice, that could well be.
