So seems like wechall started to encode @ symbol to %40 or that is what I found out after debugging. It is fixed now. Also, there had been a mysql attack like a year ago, that is why we decided to remove all earlier emails from our database to be sure that they would not be compromised.

Also, @Gizmore, I want to change the logo for the website as we switched to an icon like logo, but the system seems like it is not accepting transparent background. What was the procedure for this?

Edit: Ok got it, you need to scale to 32x32 and then upload.

I'm not aware of any change in encoding on our side.

Also, I'm not quite sure how removing the e-mails after an attack helps them avoid being compromised. (Or was it during? Or do you mean that the accounts might have been compromised?) It might be better to instead reset the passwords and mail people about it. If mail information was compromised, you might have used a database backup. (Unless you follow the gizmore doctrine of backing up. )

Edit: I forgot to mention that after setting my mail and changing my pass, my country code now says "qma". No idea what it means or how to get rid of it.

I see. The email from the get field comes as urlencoded somehow I guess, it was not like that before, I am not sure. The attack was not towards users, but towards challenges, but for any case during the attack we decided to drop all the emails, probably it was not the best choice. Similar thing happened to Project Euler, in similar times and now they do not store any of the users' emails. The password recovery then gets problematic though perhaps.

qma is short for question mark. Yeah in that case there should not be any tooltip I will change it, also will allow null
