Hi,

I am new at WeChall. I saw that Project Euler is not scored. Is there any good reason for this? I would like t see it integrated here.

Best regards.

Does anyone have any idea how to view a users profile on Project Euler?
I know I managed it in the past....
There are no linked usernames and atm I can only view my own when logged in.

Things like this annoy me.

it appears as though they've removed the ability to view public profiles.

you can however, view how many challenges have been solved by putting their username in the url.

Might we be able to add the site as a separate, stubborn entity? Submit your username to link the profile and wechall will ocr your score out? It wouldn't be auto-update, but it would work.

LOL.... You will be assimilated. Your biological and technological distinctiveness will be added to our own. Resistance is futile.

The problem is that there would be no authentication if you really own the account.
It would be possible that you could enter your euler username + euler password and i cook something up, but i suppose most people would not like that.
Also i suppose the project euler staff would not like to see that.

I see. Those guys are just twits. They really didn't give us much of a chance at all. I'm willing to bet there's a certain level of fear from uncertainty considering this site involves "hacking". I'm not really sure where they got the idea that this is a contest site. I mean, you gave shirts away for completing all the wechall challenges but as far as i can tell that's the extent of winnings. btw: i would buy a shirt.

I'm not really all that interested in playing sites that won't play nice with WeChall. I have a bias. I know. Smile I've got plenty to do on the existing linked sites anyway.

LordOric's link to the other Project Euler thread is broken. I think this is the one intended: Project Euler

I'd bet it is the rankings, not the T-Shirt, that make them call WeChall a 'contest' site. Still, I've increased my math/net/programming education at least 20x over since I started playing these sites, so even if WeChall is a 'contest' site the 'contest' vs. 'educational' distinction doesn't really make much sense to me.
