I'm able to translate the text to plain but the password confuses me. Do I have to decrypt the password (or should I say nonsense string) or do I have to submit it like it appears in the cipher text?

Many challenges have a randomized solution string that is bound to your session and I think this is one of those. If you're unsure, you can always try to submit what you get and see if it is accepted, and if not, then try to figure out what went wrong.
