ranking bugged!

I think your ranking system is a little bit bugged. For example I have solved 97/98 challenges on HQ with 98.33% done, while Bander solved 96/98 with 98.34% done. It's a little bit weird!

Another think I would like to ask, how can someone have less points with 100% done than someone who have 98.33% done, e.g. alt3rn4tiv3 vs hideaway. I shouldn't have higher score for HQ than alt3rn4tiv3 I think!

These are not bugs and i will try to explain:

the percentage solved depends on the score on hackquest.
Since every hackquest challenge scores differently, you might get more % of the score with less challenges.

The reason because alt3rn4tiv3 has so low hackquest score is the following:
Your best site (the site where you get most points) is added twice for your totalscore.

Thank you for explanation, Gizmore. But now it seems to me that scoring for HQ challenges is disproportional. Statistically, the last challenge in special category should be scored with more points than the linux one. But it is not your problem actually...

Is there any possibility then to see the scoring of the HQ challenges?

HQ scores it challenges very dynamically, based on the amount of solvers.
Most sites are not scored by num challs, but by their very own way of scoring (challs score different on many sites).

Why some challengers have better total ranking score with a lower english score but only english score than players with higher english score and other language(s) score(s) ?

Example : Doula and cp77fkr have better total score than Gizmore and myself :

Edit: [img] tags can be exploitet with csrf easily. If we want images and stay secure we would need to upload/attach them to the posts.
