what happened with the site ? new owner ? i mean i saw my account was deleted and seems most of the challs (cant remember them well lol but there are less challenges at least)

It seems like when the site was revamped it caused a bug in the scoring. Someone is currently sitting on 190% solved and 170000+ points for this one site (!)

Yeah, it's a known issue with the scoring. Perhaps we should just unlink everybody?

I don't want to start another scoring function discussion (although we didn't have one for a long time! ;), but I don't like how scoring works right now.

Not to mention it's poorly implemented, because clearly you can never solve more than 100% on a site. Maybe it is enough to add a min(100, oldPercentSolved) as a workaround?

Not sure what that would solve, really. It only hides problems.

I've been thinking that we shouldn't just ask for the score from sites, but also keep track of the solved challenges themselves somehow. That would give you a lot more information that you can do something useful with instead of just capping at 100% or updating and possibly unlinking everyone. However, it requires more effort from the sites and it still doesn't protect against "misbehaving" sites.

i think for this particular case everybody should be unlinked before the site gets more people linked. right now only like 10 people had a few points and just the top 5 had significant amount of points. also 176k on the guy with 190% is really unfair lol

I've unlinked all accounts that currently don't have a matching account on Solve Me (88 in total) and send the owners a message about it. Hopefully all is ok now; let me know if not.

Anybody know if there is a problem with the wechall linkage with Solve Me? I have created a login and solved the first challenge, but when I try to link here:

The Username/EMail combination does not seem to exist on Solve Me.

Works for my account. Your profile on Solve Me also gives a 404, so the problem seems to be there. For some sites it takes a while before everything is "active". So I guess... try again later and contact the admin if it still doesn't work.

Thanks dloser... I think there might be a problem with the sign-up. I couldn't login when I went back just now, but signed up again and my progress was still there?! Have contacted the site owner.
