Thanks, but I'd rather appreciate if you'd bring forward the translation. I know it certainly requires more energy to translate those puzzles, instead of rewarding some bonus points, but thats my opinion. I don't really know how far you already got with it, but I look forward to see it in english. Maybe you can start with the challenges first and leave the page in hungarian.

I wish I had time for this, but I have a job, I'm also a student and my freetime is devoted to my wife and the baby... So I cannot promise anything guys. I'm happy if you or someone else is helping with the translation. Theron has completed the whole site in the meanwhile, it would be great if he could send me / post here some translated fragments. I hope to have some time for gekko in the summer, when there is no scool, but that's not the only thing on my ever growing to-do list... Sad

I meant to contribute some translated parts, but I haven't found the time yet. I didn't take any notes, so I'll have to do it again, but when you know where it's going, it isn't that difficult any more.

In the meantime, maybe someone finds these tips helpful (and some fun in this translation challenge):
I used Google translator http://translate.google.com to translate only portions of the text, not the whole page. If you paste your text into the box, you get a side by side view of original and translation, and if you hover over a word in one box, the corresponding word in the other box is highlighted (this seems to only work if the portion of the text is not too long). This is very helpful in understanding. Also, if you click a word, you are presented with translation alternatives.
Translating to my native language wasn't that good, so I did Hungarian -> English.
I used a second translator window to translate single words, or phrases, that didn't translate well or I wasn't sure of, since the result may differ if you translate with/without context. Also, as Hungarian is an agglutinative language, you might get untranslateable words translated by removing chars from the end to get to the word stem.
If you just can't figure the sense out, try reversing it: Look at what you've translated so far, what other information the page gives, and imagine how you could make a challenge out of it, that is solveable. Then check if that could match with the challenge text. If you take that approach, translating what is expected as answer and the format of it might be helpful, too. Most of the time it's clear what you have to do and it's enough to confirm that you have the right thing in mind or clarify some details.

You will find the English translation for the first three levels after the Hungarian challenge description. So you can start working on them. Smile
Thanks to all who participated.

Even in english I'm not understanding the explanation of Chapter #2 about the distances. Maybe someone can explain this more clearly.
